A guy named Andy Kosco? I sent him a letter a few years back asking for some hitting advice and he was really helpful. He didn't put it into technical terms, he didn't make it look fancy, he made it simple and straight forward how he did it in the Majors for 9 seasons with 7 clubs. I got bored today and decided to google him and I read somewhere back in the 60's he blasted a 2 run homer into the Old Yankee Stadium bleachers in Left Field. I'm trying to find some info on it and haven't found much, maybe a write up or something?

Anyway, anyone remember this hit? I'm WAY to young for this stuff and was wondering if anyone remembers? I always like talking bout the oldies Smile

Thats pretty cool, He seems like a nice guy. He has alot of interviews in local papers back in Youngstown, his hometown. I found a few interviews about the Mitchell Report and him winning the Little League championship way back when he was playing. However, a few guys have asked him about the Homerun and it seems like he won't talk about it.
Eddie Kasko was a sometimes starter, sometimes utility infielder in the mid 50's to mid 60's . He became the manager of the Red Sox. Andy Kosco was a utility outfielder with some power and a lifetime batting average in the .230's. He was a lefthand platoon starter for a couple of years.
