My son ordered a pair of trainers....and a pair of cleats 3 weeks ago.  4 or 5 days had passed with no word.  He emailed them....and got a reply saying "we'll look in to it".   Never got a ship confirmation.  The trainers showed up....but no mention of the cleats.  The credit card has been billed.  The front page of their website says they're updating their system...and orders will ship in 3-4 days....which they are not!!!   No answer when you try to call.  Anyone else having problems??

I ordered two pair of cleats, 2 pair of pants and a pair of batting gloves about 4 weeks ago.  Two weeks later the cleats were shipped and arrived the day my son was leaving for his spring training trip.  He had used my cleats for the first two games.  The pants and batting gloves have not been shipped yet and I have not been able to get through on the phone.  My son has to go old school for now and pull up his too small school issued pants to his knee.

I ordered a pair of cleats with 2 day shipping.  After three or four days with no email confirmation of shipment, I attempted to call and spent an ungodly amount of time on hold.  While doing so, I was emailing them and explaining that their customer service is horrible and that the BBB needs to hear about it, and low and behold, I get an email in the next minute with a shipping confirmation.  I did get them in the next two days.

Yes, their system conversion has created a major mess.  I had major issues getting through to anyone for several days and ultimately only had success by going through their team sales department.  This has been going on for several weeks now.  Very unfortunate - my previous experience has been that they are usually very responsive and well run.

Ditto, ditto, ditto, ditto, and ditto.

 

I called customer service on Sunday to inquire about pair of turfs ordered on 3/7, with 5-days business shipping.  Automated voice told me I would have to wait, as I was caller #................55?????????????  I said, Ok, I'm ready for this.  I got nothing else to do but watch NCAA basketball.  Let's go!

 

20- minutes later I had advance to the 2nd round as caller #53.  I gave up.

I've ordered from Team Express for years and they've always provided great service. However, the past 2-3 months have been horrible. Back ordered items never received, ordered cleats a month ago and never received. I've been charged for everything but nothing is being shipped! Even though I paid Team Express, I had to go someplace else and buy cleats again because my son grew out of his!! Rarely does anyone answer the phone and when I actually got through, it said there were 56 callers ahead of me! Really, an upgrade takes 3 months? Someone should be fired for this "upgrade"!!!

Yes, charged $95 for turfs on my credit card back on 3/7.  Got around to shipping them a week later.  I tracked their journey to my address on UPS and the tracking email they sent me.  I watched as the shoes were in transit from their San Antonio warehouse to Memphis and then for some reason got sent back to their San Antonio warehouse where some guy named "Shaud" was nice enough to sign for their receipt of them.

 

In the meantime, my kid is out his hard to find size 14 turfs, I'm out my $95, and their phones #s are out of service, or you are caller #60?  Seriously, you can't make this stuff up? 

 

I will be taking my business elsewhere, but most disturbing is they've got my $95.

I thought I'd resurrect this topic...

 

Baseball Express / Team Express is still killing me.  Just tried customer service phone again and I'm 51st in line!  They don't reply to their emails either.  I was a long time customer but am not going back.  Ordered March 7th.  A few items trickled in to us in the last week, but half still outstanding.

 

Ordered from justbats and Eastbay in the interim and received everything on time.

I have given up.....I tried one last time last week.  Called at 7:59am...got a recording saying we are closed, call back during business hours (8:00am)....I called 20 seconds later....and get a message saying "I am number 62 in line".....not a chance I'll be using them again....and still haven't received the second pair of cleats that we ordered in early March....or any kind of response to numerous emails.

Well, I might as well pile on.  Ordered batting gloves, an underarmour shirt, an older model addidas shoe that I could only find there, and several other items in JANUARY!   Items started trickling in about 3 weeks later. Finally got the last item last week (the batting gloves).  Everything arrived, eventually.  I got through on the phone one day in early March but only after an hour long wait.  The guy sounded harried but was nice enough so I decided to be patient.  4 months worth of patience.  I won't be going back there until  I hear things are better run.  What a mess, though.  They used to be great.

This reminds me, I just went through my most recent credit card statement and they still have not credited me for $95 worth of goods that I never received.  This is incredible.  I tried calling them again the other day and got the automated voice that said I was caller #59. 

 

Unbelievable.  I've been dealing with this since February 7th!!!  Do NOT do business with this company!!!  Mind boggling, as they used to be a great baseball online retailer.  No longer. Border line criminal.

Don't do it!!!!!!  It's a trap...........I finally got a credit on my credit card on turf shoes that did "ship" via UPS but somewhere in Memphis they shipped them back to their warehouse in wherever?  I only got $84 of back of my original $95 because they had the nerve to charge me for "shipping."  Shipping on a product that technically shipped but never got to my house. 

The whole thing, from order to refund took about 4-months and about 3-hours of being placed on hold while an operator could talk to me.  I am NEVER going back to these people.

Ordered 3 pairs of shoes on a Sunday night 6/14.  Had them shipped free ground shipping.  Kid was due to leave on Wednesday 6/24 for a travel team road trip.  Guess what - it took them three full business days to fill the order.  Now the ground ship won't get them here in time.  Once we got the shipping email, we figured it out in time to place an order shipped next day.  Needless to say, three full business days to fill an order and get it out the door is unacceptable.  Never again.  Too many good vendors out there to mess with these guys.

Well, I had a real positive experience with a different retailer that I thought was worth sharing.  I bought a bat pack (3 wood bats) from JustBats.  They are advertised as blemished but otherwise fine, and they could be any cut (110, 243, 271, etc).  When the bats arrived two were fine but the third was very thin.  It looked like a mis-cut, or a fungo, or youth cut or something.  I weighed it and it was -6.  I called them up and they said no problem, they'll overnight a new bat.  Just like that.  New bat came and is great, so I'm a happy camper.  I put the "mis-cut" bat in the box and left it out front for UPS to pick up the next day.  No hassles, just great service (and prices).
