We're going for the Senior tournament. I know quite a few folks headed to both the Junior (this week) and Senior (next week) WWBA tournaments.

Saw my boy's name on the college recruiting roster today online...I didn't believe it I think until I saw it there! Looking forward to seeing you there too!

Ah, I should have told you about that. I saw it a couple of weeks ago (talking about the Bootleg?). I forgot where we're staying...have the information at work.

My son just returned from Marietta,Atlanta area.They played all of last week in the area including Georgia Tech stadium.
He tells me during one of there batting practice sessions in the cage,the LSU head coach walked in and started talking with his coach and watching the bp.
It tells me he is definately playing on the right team for exsposure.The kid went yard on Sunday morning at GT.

Congrats on the exciting outing and experience. How much did it rain while you were there? The internet forecast looks grim....
My son says it rained a ton,but because the fields were very well kept they only missed one game.
Thanks...sigh...we have had the most beautiful summer in years in California...not as hot as previous years...high 70s most of the time...going to hot humidity for a "vacation"....hmmm....

Son will be arriving on Friday night to play with the PerfectGame team 17U and then meet up with the Florida Bombers for the 18U, the following week.

Just returning from the East Cobb classic and going to miss next week. David is on the Pokers and if you meet up with them please go say hello to him.
We hit quite a bit of rain and there were schedule changes. He played at Georgia Tech, Roswell and Lassiter and the East Cobb folks do an excelent job, the fields are beeeeeutiful.
I didn't notice as many scouts as last year but I do know that there were quite a few of the ACC coaches around as I met many of them. Next week will be busy.

If you think it is bad in GA, come to South Florida! Does give the florida teams an advantage. David pitched 7 innings the other day and I am still wondering how he does it when I am sitting in the stands thinking I am nuts for not staying home in the ac! It has been one HOT summer here! Should be a breeze for him getting through those cold South Carlina days and nights next season!
