Trying to verify information about a person who called my son & asked him to participate in an 'Invite only 1 day showcase event run by Professional Scouts'. He says his boss is someone named Shawn Barton.

Mr. Malloy says he is a scout for the Diamondbacks. He said my son was recommended by a scout from the Area Code Try Outs in June. Any help is appreciated.
