Since we did not get a chance to finish our forum on recruiting services from last week, I would like to add one note:
I would like to apologize to anyone, including Fungo, that I may have offended or ticked-off by any of my comments. It was not my intention in and while I know we are all big boys who are tough enough to take whatever people give them, there is still a more mature and professional way to handle a discussion. I feel that I crossed that line.
I will hold to my belief that we all have something to share on this forum and learn from people with different experiences. Yes, the trend has been that recruiting services have received a negative mark by a few bad companies. I also contend that the service our company offers IS NOT a recruiting service, but an alternative to recruiting services. We do encourage players to participate in showcases, camps, and summer ball in addition to using our service. Their savings come when they only pay our small fee versus paying hundreds for a recruiting service. Again, we are not speaking badly of recruiting services, because for players in certain circumstances such services fit their needs, but rather players can use our service in other circumstances. For example, those on limited budgets and live in areas too far to travel to a showcase, our website does save them money.
We have had a great experience HELPING players with this website and hope others in these forums will respect our experiences just as I try to respect their experiences as well.
