Area Code tryout information

hi i am a freshman right now, and today i recieved an invitation to the Arizona Diamondbacks Area Code tryout in florida. Is this worth while? I live in north carolina and it is alot of travel...but if it is a good idea to go i will...just asking for oppions

I think it would be worth your time and money to go if it was an invite to their actual tryout, not their camp. As a freshman, you still have a few years until someone is usually invited, so if it's to the tryout, by all means, try and make it.
