What is the format of the Area Code Tryouts? What are things to work on in preparation for this? Heard my son was getting an invite and I want him to be ready.
What are considered to be good OF and pitching velocities for these tryouts? I heard they also do 60 times, is that correct?
Yes they do 60's and good velocities from the outfield would be 86-87 mph and up. Most players at the tryouts are not going to be picked for the team but can still be seen by a lot of college coaches as I think there were 35 or so when we were there. By the way, I hope people don't confuse us since we have the same "name" Just one capital letter different.
