My son was invited to go with team from DFW area, but he is only a junior. Do you think it is worth it to go given he is not a senior?

All of the top travel teams send their juniors to the Senior Classic. If there is a crowd of coaches behind the backstop, they are watching juniors. Put another way, is a player is good enough to be considered for an early NLI sign, he should attend the Senior Classic as a junior.
I agree and make sure you sign up for the Academic game if you qualify. Single best event there is IMO for a high academic player. Nearly EVERY coach who is at this event is at this game.
Absolutely worth going! Coaches EVERYWHERE. Other than Stanford Camp, the single most "productive" recruiting event 2013 son went to. Just make sure you send schedules to all schools of interest before the event.
One thing, though...make sure the travel team is not overcharging for the event. Son's team charged about $150 for the event (lodging, transportation on our own). I met others who had paid $1000 for the event only!!!!!!
One other thing...unless things have changed, I think only unsigned seniors can play in the Academic game. I've also heard great things about the Academic game. I think they schedule around it so all the coaches are able to attend.

My son went as a junior and senior I thought it was very helpful. I would not pass it up. We went with ABA. Great organization.
