UAFS does a good job. Assistant Coach Doty is a go getter as far as recruiting and since he has been there, the program has done well. Played them a couple of years ago and from what I could tell, the entire coaching staff approached the game the way it is supposed to be played. No screaming and yelling and the kids played hard and were well disciplined.
Dale Harpenau is a good friend. He has scouted for us in his part time over the years.
Dale is one of the best coaches in the country. He knows baseball inside and out. He treats people with respect and he promotes the heck out of his players.
I've never been to the college (juco) so can't say much about that, but I can tell you that anyone would enjoy having Dale as a coach. There aren't many nicer people in baseball. And that's not just my opinion alone.
