I was listening to Jimmy Rollins and he credited his dad for his arm strength. He said his dad had him do a lot with the surgical tubing.

Does anyone have more information on exactly what exercises to do to increase arm strength?

We follow the Jaeger program pretty closely but I was wondering if there is more.

Thanks,

Bill

Thanks for the input. I have the Jaeger video and I have also incorporated a little of what I saw in Crossover symmetry.

I actually purchased the Jaeger Video and bands last fall. He has been working all winter and now we have started his long toss program. The weather here in MD has not been too cooperative so far this spring.

Only time will tell.

Cheers!
I have a junior 2010rhp 5ft 11in cruises 85-86 and hits 87 frequently. we do band work, long toss, plyometrics with 7 lb ball and 2 lb ball to add stress load. he does ground slams 3 sets 8 reps, throws 7 lb ball starting in squat and exploding up throwing underhand as high as he can same reps, 3 sets chest passes in squat position same reps, sleeper stretch for posterior capsule flexibility and tons of plus pushups for scapular. he also does intense leg work...bench jumping...weighted jump rope. all are done only 3 times per week so not to over load. seems to work. he has great velocity for 138 lbs
