ASU Investigation

Here's a bit of the skinny,
The allegations were made by the mother of a former volunteer to the program who was let go. There is a real "sour grapes" feel to the thing.

Based on past articles and comments over the years about ASU's program, Coach Murphy is often criticized by people outside the program (I will keep my personal opinions out of this discussion). That being said, it is probably no surprise that some former employee/volunteer/fill in the blank might want to disparage him further. And I am sure being ranked #1 in the nation right now doesn't help ... we may see lots of people coming out and jumping on the anti-Murphy bandwagon.

actually it's University of Arizona that is ranked #1.

They are number 1 in the Collegiate Baseball poll. That is the poll is usually look at instead of the Baseball America poll.

FWIW, they are also first in the NCBWA poll.

Sure about that? Better check again...

Murphy and ASU baseball is conducted with the highest of standards and any and all allegations will be proven untrue one by one. Murphy is one of the best coaches in the country and his team this season is proving that out. However, on-field is only part of what a coach does and his off-field reputation speaks for itself and is of the highest caliber.
