To his credit, Adam LaRoche took full blame and responsibility for his slack play that keyed a big inning and did not try to claim that his ADD was a factor.

His play was no different from a few years ago when Andruw Jones Cadillac'ed a fly and muffed it. Bobby Cox benched him a few games, too. He doesn't do that anymore, and you can bet you won't see LaRoche repeat his mistake, either.
Son has ADD and it seems to be more of a problem in his class work than on the ball field. There are times though that he loses concentration on the field and people think that he's not paying attention, or just has a lazy attitude. He's a pitcher catcher so this helps keep him focused.Just another hurdle if he wants to make it to the next level.Does anyone know that if someone has Add is this a major draw back to being scouted or is this not much of a issue if you have the talent and the desire to succeed, and as TRhit said there are many athlete's who have to deal with this problem.
