going to be in Atlanta for the WWBA and he only has one bat. just in case, are there any good sporting goods stores in north Atlanta to get a good wood bat?

Slugger is on premises. They often have BLEM bats for sale in addition to the custom wood.
Better Baseball in Marietta. Probably the largest, in store inventory of bats in the country.
I agree, Better Baseball is the place to go. We just bought a new bat there today. Plus they will allow you to test them in their cage and they have some new tech that projects distance etc...

Being an Atlanta native I was all set to jump on this thread and provide my opinion, but it seems several people have already highlighted the amazing store that is Better Baseball. Seriously, no place better, just stop looking. Two locations, I have only been to the one in Marietta, which is EXACTLY like a candy store for adults, but with a baseball theme.

Just for informational purposes, ( you can't beat Better Baseball ) there is an Academy Sporting Goods store in Cartersville about 4 miles north of Lakepoint. A dicks Sporting Goods at Town Center about 6 miles south of Lakepoint.
Just another shout out to Better Baseball... Place is incredible... Hit TRAXX cage to hit soft toss in... Measures bat speed, very awesome place... Free hot dogs when we visited on Wednesday!
