This will be our first PG showcase...as everyone out there knows, the college recruiting process can be a very complex and stressfull road to go down, let alone expensive. Can anyone tell me whether or not we made a good decision and give me their experiences with this Showcase.(UNC at Chapel Hill). I would be appreciative of any and all advice.

You have made the right choice. My son will be there next week also, his first event, he had to miss Sunshine East in June. Best choice for the money.
We getting there Monday afternoon, take a ride to the campus from hotel to make sure we find it OK, go back a relax and wait for the big moment.
Just remember, its not a competition, just have you son go out and give 110%, have fun, enjoy the experience and the coaches/scouts will see that and take notice.
Do you know what team he is on? Looking foward to metting people from all over.
My son went to Best in Va Sowcase/camp and enjoyed meeting players from outside of our area. Good Luck, enjoy.
basball96, my son was at BIV (the 2nd session) and we'll be at UNC as well. He's on the "Cedar" team. Looking forward to meeting other hsbb-websters as well. Since this is our 1st PG showcase (he did an ID in March '05), I was wondering if someone with PG experience can shed some light on what (if anything) they do when not listed for BP, game, etc.
just got back, great event, great group of people, PG and UNC did a great job. Only regret is my son didn't perform as well as he could have.
Talking with parents and players, everone's 60 was unusally slow (.3 to .4 slower than expected). Talk with one of the event coaches and he said the outfield was just resoded this year and had a loose sand base, seem to slow everone down. Hope the PG staff will take this in consideration when ranking the players.
Other than that and 2/3 inning being called due to lightning, things went smoothly and professionally.
