Son's team has a scrimmage against a Canadian team today....and an intra-squad tomorrow. Heading that way to watch (he's pitching today). It's been 2 months since I've seen back to back baseball....and it seems like a lot longer. Can't wait to get up there...sit in the sun and watch some good baseball today. 2 more weeks of fall ball...including a 5-game intrasquad "world series"....then 4 months of NO BASEBALL!!! It's gonna be a long, long winter

My son has graduated, but his old school is having there RE/Black series this weekend and I may head up.
...While at my son's school they haven't even started team workouts yet. My guy is really itching to go. Friends at other schools -- even D3 schools -- have been scrimmaging for awhile now.
They start week after this coming week and go through early November. "World Series" is the last official event of the fall in November. Then they report a week early for school in January for Spring training. So they have basically a 2 month gap between the end of fall ball and the start of Spring training.
