Anybody see this on ESPN yesterday? I think it was in the Cubs game.
Hard-hit ground ball to LF. As F7 goes to field it, ball hops right up his sleeve and ends up inside his uniform behind his neck.
He manages to dig it out with a slight delay, but nothing that really affected the game.
But ... what would have happened had he not been able to dig it out and runners continued to advance. Does it become a dead-ball situation? And where do you place the runners?
