I personally was wondering how often should you be doing band work either in season or in off season. Also if theirs any you should stay away from like that could potentially injure your arm that regular people might not know about. If anyone could help me clear these questions up it would be very helpful.

Are you referring to the Thrower's 10 program?
I'll leave frequency to other more knowledgeable folk. I will say that improper form can cause injury. And rushing through the reps can cause improper form.
We have the team on the Jaeger program and walk them through it several times early on. As we get more into baseball specific drills, we start leaving the bands out and the players become responsible for doing the band drills on their own. This is when form slips and reps are rushed. I was recently made aware by the trainer that a few players are having issues due to this.
2018 does them daily (or at least pretty close to it)...takes about 15 mins to complete about 11 of the exercises; no arm issues and has been doing them for the past 1 1/2 years
There's another exercise I've been having my son do. Its the Indian Clubs to strengthen the ligaments and tendons in the shoulder ..no kidding I think it really works
