This Belgian Baseball video is a typical lifestyle segment from a weekend Belgian TV news show. The 7+min video features the Namur Angels, arch rival of the Brussels Kangaroos, and the only other french-speaking club in Belgium's 8-team Première League.

Ok, I know it's in french, but you can make out a few words from Namuur's two american players, Tim Dunphy (Brandeis University) & Derek Lyons (Salem State College), and get a snapshot of baseball life over here.

btw: The Kangaroos and Angels face each other for the first time in 2007 in a home & away doubleheader next weekend (May19/20).

I got to view two or three minutes of the story before the video seized up...in order to get it going again I stuffed numerous quarters (even a couple of Canadians) into the hard drive slot...no luck...evidently the Belgian media can not be bought.

As far as I could tell the reporter and the coach were discussing the merits of several different teeth whitening products and how effective they were in erasing stains caused by drinking wine. I think a Proctor & Gamble product was their overwhelming choice.

I'll try again later and see if I have better success on viewing the whole video...Dunphy and Lyons must have some thoughts on the matter.
Not that wasn't some Photoshop involved in that dreamy skyscape foto, but of all the places I've lived, the Belgian heavens have the most contrails.

In addition to the crossing air routes between London, Amsterdam Frankfurt and Paris, about 25 clicks west of Namur (where the Angels play) is SHAPE.

Many NATO aircraft buzzing back and forth, day and night.
