Get your application in for Mansfield Legacy, it opens next fall. They will be taking some good kids away from me at Summit. Mansfield ISD pays their head coaches very well!

Great budgets, no field work, supportive booster club.

Legacy's principal came from Summit, he is a good one. He has a great baseball name, David Wright!
Thanks for the input! I am entertaining the idea of trying for a "baseball only" (no teaching at first) position at the HS ranks. My resume is pretty complete. 12 years pro ball, 2 years service time in the bigs, 5 1/2 years professional (pitching coach with some fill-in managerial experience). I would love to get into D1 coaching but I know how hard that shell is to crack. Any info on new positions or where to access them would be greatly appreciated. You can email me at smith.shack4@verizon.net.

Thanks again!

I absolutely love this board!
Last year on block - I taught 2 classes per day at about 1:25 per class - now 7 period days I teach 5 periods a day.

It will be nice next year when we get a freshman athletic period for baseball!!!

If you find a baseball only with no teaching - let us know - I was excited about getting a baseball / no football position!!
