Does he play on a summer team? Usually a good source of references.

Of the schools in Dallas, not sure I would recommend any in particular. I like the coaches at Hillcrest and they do well with the talent they have. WT White is a decent program with good coaches.

As far as the surrounding areas, the programs at Sasche & Rockwall-Heath are probably well run with a little less competition right now. Allen, Rockwall & the Plano schools have great programs, but lots of competition. I really like the staff at South Garland also and usually have some spots to fill.

Hebron, Flower Mound, Coppell would be three of my suggestions. Those schools are loaded with talent, and are 5A, but you would know where he stands.

I have heard some really good things about Royse City and they are moving up to 4A next year.
