Hi everyone,
Does anyone have any Intel on the Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-American tournament? My kid got an invite but it is in the middle of January and tbh that time is not ideal for playing.
Thanks in advance!

Firm pass on anything BF related that is not the actual All America game at Wrigley

Wouldn’t completely agree with that - Futures Games are worth attending if you get invited. Agree with avoiding any high dollar events tho.

Thought Futures Games were PBR

Under Armour/Baseball Factory has Futures events in some states (Texas & Florida are 2 examples). The events are invitation only, well scouted, and feature great talent. They aren’t expensive and, if you are fortunate enough to be invited, you should attend.
The pre-season All American is relatively new, I am curious if it gets similar coverage like the future games.
I don’t know much about their futures tournament, but my son played in one of their regular events last year and it was terrible. I would have rather driven 2 hours to a PG than the 20 minutes for the BF/UA event.
My son and I went one year, I think January of his junior year. The two biggest pluses were leaving snowy New England for Arizona and the talent level of players. MLB scouts were in attendance (don't recall many colleges there). It gave son a chance to see how he stacked up. Knowing he was going to college, a Showball/Headfirst gave him more exposure ultimately for the HA schools he was vetting.
My son just got a voicemail from them wanting him to get signed up. Never had them call before. I had written it off until your post Ripken Fan. Son is already committed, but would be interested in the MLB scouts.

Interesting, did not know but that is also well out of my area. I do find it funny how GA is the South Region and FL is the East for the Futures events. Their showcase guy isn't a geography whiz.
