For Trombly:
Dial 8 is old school. When you stayed in a motel in the old days, you dialed 8 to call long distance.... (and I do mean dial)... Long distance = home run... We used to say, "C'mon Johnny Dial 8 here" .. of course this was with wood bats so the chances of Johnny really Dialing 8 were pretty darn slim, but it's good chatter.
JT - you had me going with your's - took me a bit to separate the 'words' properly. had to rememember back to the Periodic Table to get that one.

I have no pride, so I was ready to ask what AUGLV meant. For those of you WITH pride however, but a lack of kharmantific knowledge, Au is the scientific symbol for Gold, as evidenced in the Periodic Table of Elements below:

H He
Li Be B C N O F Ne
Na Mg Al Si P S Cl Ar
K Ca Sc Ti V Cr Mn Fe Co Ni Cu Zn Ga Ge As Se Br Kr
Rb Sr Y Zr Nb Mo Tc Ru Rh Pd Ag Cd In Sn Sb Te I Xe
Cs Ba La* Hf Ta W Re Os Ir Pt Au Hg Tl Pb Bi Po At Rn
Fr Ra Ac** Rf Db Sg Bh Hs Mt 110 111 112 113

Lanthanides* Ce Pr Nd Pm Sm Eu Gd Tb Dy Ho Er Tm Yb Lu
Actinides ** Th Pa U Np Pu Am Cm Bk Cf Es Fm Md No Lr

Now where else can you get good discussions on linear vs rotational, good vs bad kharma, and a refresher on the Table of Elements, all in the same setting???
