Has anyone on this site been contacted by this group? Baseball Scouting News. Thursday 12/15/05 my son was sent an e-mail telling him that they were going to do a full feature article on him.They sent a questionaire with 16 questions about him,who the best players he has played against,top pitchers faced,major tournaments played,top showcases,etc.We filled it all out and put 1 player and the school he went to for college( he was drafted and signed)as a test to see if they were really doing their scouting. The next day we go on their website and there is an article on my son.They have him listed as an outfielder-he plays shortstop. All the players that my son listed are now on the site with stories including the plant we put in.the article on my son has about 3 sentences and then a 'See more' button.We click on the button to 'see the rest of the story' and find out that it will cost $149.95 to see. I am always leary on any of these kind of media sites so that is why I put in a plant to see if they were legit-looks like another company trying to make some fast cash. I was just wondering if anyone else knows anything about this service and can pass on any info to me and anyone else who might get contacted.
