For me, top 2 that come to mind are Next Level Baseball and the Schenk hitting guy. NLB puts out some ridiculous posts and locks the comments. The Schenk guy takes one small piece of great swing video and claims it validates his instruction.

What are some other accounts that you typically find yourself completely disagreeing with or that just annoy you?

I don't have social media like "X" or ...  I do not go to those sites.  However, as I understand it, they can block criticism or control the ability to respond to their ideas.  Please correct me if I am wrong.  Message boards such as this have both good and bad qualities but a big positive is the sharing of ideas where other posters are able to take in information, process it, and then, reply per their opinions or belief systems.  I know that "Twitter" now "X" enabled the creation of "experts" who are questionable.  As many might remember, my signature once stated that I was/am an ex-expert.  IMO, often, those who proclaim to be experts don't know what they are talking about.  To be sure, I have learned so much on my journey from sharing opinions with others on sites like this.

What a topic! There are so many accounts on Baseball Twitter that turn my stomach. I don’t think I should call them out by name but I will give categories; 1) Coaches that act like celebrities and comment on everything (one DFW HS coach in particular), Data Heads that have never picked up a baseball but denigrate former MLB players, Hitting instructors pushing “dump the barrel” (especially the one TBPT mentioned), Recruiting services that pander to parents/ players (especially one that tends to visit this site), throwing coaches that call themselves pitching coaches (especially a DFW area chiropractor), DFW & Houston area sports media (especially DFW accounts that continue to pander to that punk ass Jon Daniels). I could go on but what’s the point? There is a lot of good information on Twitter. But I agree with @CoachB25, Twitter is a platform that allows people to declare themselves “experts” on any subject, give themselves fake titles & fake awards, and start selling snake oil.

What are peoples opinions of Nick Strong

Interesting person.  Very opinionated. Means well.

Recognizes club baseball. etc.

Upon looking at previous FNU Roster insights, I told him to have the athletic director upgrade the website to sidearm so that student athletes and families get more context about the sports program(s), especially baseball and what he is trying to bring to the program.

Also alluded that the 1st year wasn't his recruiting class (hired in feb), thus he will be judged on yrs 2 thru 4.

Also, need to highlight where he was sending players for the summer.

Expected him to go heavy juco with his initial class.  Was concerned that he had ~70 and had a development squad.

But I'm into transparency of any program.

Going to add Fryedaddy, even though he makes fun of some of the accounts I hate. He is so old school and anything new he immediately makes fun of and tags a bunch of his friends from the 80's and 90's. In the words of Randy Sullivan, "they used to also think it was ok to smoke in the dugout".

Dude has way too much negativity around him. Had to block his account because his wars would pop in other accounts I follow. He almost reminds me of a hybrid of Uncle Rico and Al Bundy.

I was going to mention him but wasn't aware that he is well known.  Worst part is that he'll ridicule kids who are in the videos that his enemies post.  Its hilarious to me that he thinks that people who didn't play in MLB can't teach baseball, yet he put himself out there as someone who can negotiate contracts.

I know Nick and I like him. He is working hard to turn around a program. However, on Twitter, he often comes across as having a chip on his shoulder. And not in a good way. I would like to see him pick his battles more carefully. His online rhetoric gets old and also doesn’t reflect who (I believe) he is.

Interesting, I only know of him through twitter and it seems like he choses to antagonize the baseball community for no reason.
