Having spent a couple of years on this site I have learned that there is so much complexity in this simple game. I am at the point where I would like to understand the little games within the game. When to throw what pitches, when to bunt, when to hit and run, placement of fielders, etc etc. Understanding the strategy is what I'm looking for. Any books, videos, whatever that have a lot of this info in one place? Any and all recommendations appreciated. Thanks

Some good books that go in depth about the stuff you’re asking about:

“Men At Work” by George F. Will

“Pure Baseball” by Keith Hernandez

“Baseball for Brain Surgeons” by Tim McCarver

If you get past the generally annoying McCarver-isms in it, this is a pretty good book about that stuff from one who caught for Bob Gibson among other guys.

There are others out there, just can’t think of them off-hand. I think Kevin Kennedy jumped on the bandwagon with one of these type books, but I’m not sure. But those three are a good place to start.
I've got two good books that fit your description. 'Baseball Strategies', edited by Jack Stallings & Bob Bennett, published by the American Baseball Coaches Association. The contributors include Andy Baylock (UConn), Bobo Brayton (Wash. State), Mike Gillespie (S. Cal), Danny Hall (Ga. Tech), Chuck Hartman (Va. Tech), Steve Hertz (Gonzaga), Jim Morris (Miami), and others.

Also 'Baseball Playbook' by Ron Polk.
