Rumor is that the prez of Amarillo College has appointed a committee to study the return of sports to Amarillo College, now the only juco west of Fort Worth without baseball. Supposedly they are looking at baseball, softball, volleyball.
Not that this will change the world, but if you ask me, it's good news any time a new juco program opens up, especially in one of the larger or mid-size cities. Another chance for a whole new group of kids to keep the dream alive.
