Hi folks,
My son will be making a trip to Dallas, Texas for a week, and it is just prior to his Freshman year at a pretty competitive D2 and fall ball. Minimally, he needs to get some swings, but would like him to be able to possibly long toss also. I was hoping there was a person or facility that could keep an eye on him or a hitting guy that has a good reputation in the area (that might work with him a couple times). Thanks in advance.

You might want to contact Texas Baseball Ranch.
Many good organizations in Dallas Ft. Worth area as well as many private instructors. Area is fairly spread out so depending on what part of town he will be in might dictate who would be most convenient for workouts. DBat, Dallas Tigers, Dallas Mustangs, Dallas Patriots etc all have facilities located throughout the area as well as instructors that may be a fit.

Las Colinas is baseball "no mans land." He is gonna have to do some driving.

That was my thought. Best bet is probably trying to find someone at North Lake (D3 Juco).
