Bat question

My son has an Exogrid 2 that he loves, but he informs me that the Exogrid 3 isn't as good as its' predecessor.  Apparently, the materials are different, bat doesn't have the pop of the Exo2.  The Exo 2 feels lighter to him.

All that said, it sounds like a pretty good price for a high-school legal BBCOR.  

Here is a fun exercise for you. Go to the college website for every university in your temperature zone and look at the baseball photo gallery to see what make and model bats the college players are using. HMm..............

But isn't it true that at a lot of programs, bats are used according to promotion deals instead of what would have been the true preference of the players?

If your stuck on Louisville bats, my son and his teammates liked the Omaha better than the Exo, there area also a couple of Z1000's on the team.....most of his HS team have switched to the Easton S1 or XL1's though
