I would like to hear other folks experiences when trying to return a bat. The reason I am posting this is due to the experience I had while trying to return a Gen1X that was 3 weeks old to H&B. After considerable runaround, I finally decided the heck w/ it and to never purchase anything w/ TPX, Louisville Slugger or H&B on it again. I have heard positive experiences while returning bats to Easton. A bat that cost over $200 should last more than 2-3 weeks. I would like to hear other's experiences.

the gen1X seems to be the big problem bat of the last year or so. My son's team has used them almost exclusively without a problem, but I hear they break and Louisville has finally been accepting exchange/return so long as you have a receipt.

Couple of years ago, returned a Louisville with no problem. Again, gotta have receipt.

Only through word of mouth, I hear Easton is a little more cooperative or at least faster on the returns.

And your are right, a metal bat should certainly last a season, at least until the same model with different graphics comes out laugh
My boys and their teammates have recently returned Gen1x, a couple and Omahas. They were returned to Louisville directly not the store. You have to have a receipt and they were 2 day aired back. About a week total wait time.

One we called and got a return authorization ahead of time, the others were just sent there. Good results in al cases. Don't have phone number or address with me, but retail shop should have a contact number. If not call a local Oshmans.

we too returned a bat without any problems...I believe our son ordered his from Baseball Express and it was several months old when he returned it...I think it was an Omaha - one of the cryofreeze ones...there were no questions asked when we returned it....we have ordered all kinds of stuff from them and never had a problem with quality or returns
Usually as long as you have a receipt and you did not void the warranty the company will take the bat back. Make sure you read the warranty. You can void it if you use the bat below a certain temperature or if you use in commercial batting cages or if you use the bat inappropiately. I dont know how they tell if you used the bat in a way that violated the warranty. I worked at The Sports Authority while I was in school and they were pretty good about exchanging bats.
