What size bat should I buy my son for this baseball season. He is playing Babe Ruth. He is about 5-4, 115lbs. Was thinking either a drop 8 or a drop 5. Any suggestions on what would be better? Probably use a 32 inch? Thanks!!

Use the -5. It's less conducive to bad mechanics.

If it were up to me, we'd be using +3 or +4 wood bats. Unfortunately, aluminum is big business.
I would go with the -5 but use a 30" bat.....32" is too long
not so concerned about the weight but the length of the lever. 32" for your son is too much bat. I suggest whether wood or alum, either a 30" or 31" and the latter only if he has really strong wrists.
