We have senior league bats, both Stealth and Demarini. The obvious differences for us are (1) the Demarini is a little top heavy while the weight of the Stealth is a bit more balanced, and (2) the Stealth has some dings on it through normal use while the Demarini doesn't have a mark on it. The Vexxum's are remarkably durable.

These observations are based on the 3 Stealths and 2 Vexxums we own.

Hope that helps.

My son has been using the vexxum -3 during his pony years, and now in high school. Last year when he was a freshman I purchased 3 new vexxums off Ebay to last through high school. The one he uses is the first original red and black vexxum. It's the best bat they made and they will even tell you that at the factory. It really has a lot of pop. Just ask my son who wont even look at these new fancy bats.

My son too has found the Vexxum to be very durable with a lot of pop..tried the new NIKE Aero this spring..after 2 games has gone back to last year's Vexxum.will be sending the NIKE back after 6 AB's bat has flat spots and now sounds like something is loose if tapped on the ground..he uses wood bats for all BP so basically after 8-9 times making some sort of cantact, counting foul balls, the bat has lost it's integrity..has both the black/red and the orance/black vexxum and other than a couple of scratches the bats respond as good as ever after 2 seasons of use

If you think one bat is too top heavy, another light enough to get through the zone and have "pop" - then you probably need to check your mechanics.... you will never be able to play at a high level and swing a wood bat, if you do not have the mechanics to properly swing any aluminum bat...

Excellent quote. While I completely agree that you should use every technological advancement available to you, some of the best young hitters I have ever seen honestly can't even tell which bat they are using. There swing is so fluid and explosive that an ounce here or there feels like nothing.

Now let me get off my soap box. The stealth is a more balanced bat, but it does lose its shape with use. Luckily that is why they have a long warranty so that you can get a second one for free if it "loses its round". The new stealthcomp is also supposed to be more durable, if you want to pay the cash for it.
I never knew that the Stealth had better balance than the other bats. Sounds like a good reason to me to use it. That said, my son and his teammates use the Vexxum more than any other bat (both the black model and the current one). They all love it. But who knows. It undoubtedly is more the hitter than anything else.
