What do your son's or player's swing in the cage for batting practice, Wood or Aluminum bats? Is there any benefit from swinging a wood bat in practice and then using an aluminum bat in a game?

Perhaps it gives you a bit more focus on the sweet spot. My son used an aluminum cage bat (-2) when he used to hit. Same as wood, a bit heavier and if you didn't hit it right, you felt it.

CSG, we hit a lot with composite bats. However, we haven't found a company yet that can keep up with us. Typically, we go through 5-6 composites a year.
