Coach May, these were the search terms I googled to try and find the tee you're talking about, but all I found on the results page were lyrics from Vanilla Ice and Sir-Mix-A-Lot songs, and an article on how to role a joint.
Could you post a link? This tee might be good for my 16 y/o, who is 6'3".
Coach May was commenting on Roll It Up's suggestion, Tanner Tee.
I'm 6'2" and have hit off it with no apparent problems...well, I kept missing the ball but that's no the tee's fault!

DOH!!
I have no idea how much they are now but they are outstanding.
I like Jugs
Tanner's is good.
Yet what is in my clinics include:
- Oscar Miller's Schutt SwingRite Batting Tee
- Solo-Hitter
- Instructor-Swing 1500
- SPC Personal Pitcher Pro
Yet my favorite (and for $10-$20 /hr) is the live arm!
EZ TEE
It was a really cool, unique style, cheap ($28) and would even fit in your bat bag for easy travel.

But the one I actually use is this one:

This tee NEVER falls over, it folds up, and it's under $20... Best out there!!
Have had one for 3 years and had to replace the topper once for $3-$4...
My son is 6'3" and has hit off them since he was ten, Cant go wrong with Joe Tanner, a former scout who runs the family business in Sarasota.
My Tuffy tee has been through 3 baseball boys, and 10 years of travel baseball teams. It is indestructible. I'm convinced it will survive a nuclear war along with cockroaches and Rambo.
It's the only tee I'll ever buy for the rest of my life. No joke.

I called the other day, they sell for 60 and the military discount is 10$ (active, retired, etc). So 50$ plus shipping. That offer is only for orders over the phone. By the way, the fist day the discount was offered was also the first day this thread mentioned it. They were surprised to know that the word was already on the streets when i talked to them. I told them to thank the HSBBWEB in the form of a donation...

I agree - this is a very good tee for the price.
Two sons (2016 and 2018) have gone through two tees already this year. Searched on here, ordered and just received the Tanner Tee. Sons love it. Looks like it should hold up for a long time.
I have used the spring back tee and like it a lot. a little sturdier than the Tanner which I like as well.
Tanner is the best you can get. If you buy a tee because of price alone you will regret throwing your money away. Tanners are $70 but will outlast 4 cheaper versions.
I found my inspiration for rescuing a broken batting tee while tiling a bathroom floor. A scrap of rubber floor membrane wrapped around the top of the tee a couple of time with packing tape was a perfect replacement for the original battered hard rubber. It looks like a gray cone. Son has hit off of this one 1000s of times, and it still pops right back. Home Depot sells it by the foot (I think it's 36" wide) in the flooring section for a couple of dollars.

Hey Mid can you post a picture of your creation?
