One of my players has a white Demarini Voodoo BBCOR bat that has several areas of paint chipping on the barrel. The bat has absolutely no dents or cracks. The BBCOR stamp is easily visible. This cosmetic change to the bat should not affect its performance. Is this bat still legal for high school baseball game use?

I told my kid early on, the day he does that is the day he becomes a pitcher only.

Mine knew he would have been going in for a batectomy. He threw one bat at the on deck circle and I was all over him.

It's even worse when your nice guy son lets another kid use your 300 dollar bat only to have that kid slam it on the ground after striking out.

Luckily the bat was fine but the kid was informed that he is not to use any of my son's equipment again. I kinda said it in a little more forceful manner than that though. Scared the heck out of an 8th grader.
