We are at the WWBA in ATL right now and keeping an eye on the remnants of the storm as it moves north. Hoping for the best and no 2:00 AM games to try to get pool play in.

I am following our 17u on DiamonKast. Was looking at their schedule. What a terrible schedule. 7 pool games spread out over 6 days. Got to get that hotel money. If that storm roles in, going to be a long couple of days and nights to get pool play completed.

Yes, that is our schedule as well. It may be the more expensive way to do it but it does help with pitching as your starters can pitch in the first couple of pool games and head into brackets on 4-5 days of rest.  We just made a run at last weeks tourney, playing the semi and the championship on Sunday then turned around and started WWBA on Tuesday.

Was just reading our schedule format for the 16u WWBA next week and it's the same. 6 pool play games in the first five days, 1 pool play game in the morning on day 6. Pool winners play that evening in first round of bracket play.
