VAAngels...

With gas being an arm and leg and all that nonsense, it seems my reporters won't be making much trips. Especially since I've stopped playing there and the little one has his own JV s o c c e r games to go to. Also having to attend the varsity s o c c e r ones... Seems as though they didn't miss much.

OL always gets that wakeup call each year, with the shalacking they took on their turf from Cox last year(13-3). I can see where the pitcher is coming from, lack of defense is crucial...Especially when you seem to be on your A game... I learned myself the rough way Saturday.

Congrats to Tallwood for executing and getting their first win after losing much talent on the hill from last year. The weather is starting to turn for the best and makes out for a great second half of the season coming up. Too bad I won't be able to see an OL games this year! Good luck to all teams....Time to see the region title come back to the beach and even the State title!

Pilot,
Ryan Cook is a stud. Despite FC's very shaky D, Cook single-handedly (his right arm that is) defeated Kellam. Ryan deserves any and all recognition he gets as far as I am concerned.
It has been fun watching the young Kellam team pitch and play defense extremely well. Your comment about FC getting everyones ACE was interesting. In 7 games this season, Kellam has seen Lemaster/Begley, Sandifer, Staskey, Morimando, and Mr. Cook. The Beach district has some very strong experienced pitchers this season. From what I have seen so far, hitting and defense have been very weak and sloppy.

1943,
Troy Jones is a great kid ! I think you need a timeout in the corner...
Me saying that F.c see"s everyone's ACE is not a knock on kellam, I'm sure OL see"s everyone"s ACE too, and teams had better throw their ACE or #1 against Kellam, cause they are that good. FC is like everyone's golf game, sometimes you drive well, putt well, or hit irons well, FC either hits well, pitches well or both but soon they will put all 3 together, hitting, fielding, pitching, FC does play a few youngsters, so it'll take a few more games, their 1 question this year was catching and Livers has done an outstanding job, and he's starting to hit too

Friendly suggestion: If you all keep giving her an audience with whom to engage she will only keep up her off topic missives. There is no greater way to insult someone than to ignore them.

there are rules and he followed them. The VHSL agreed.

Well I know Kellam doesnt have an Academy and since this player seems like a new name on forum I was just asking. I wasnt aware the VHSL had already been involved. So I imagine that means he moved here? He did do well and I also would like to know if he has had offers from schools. Kellam seems to have filled the gap of the pitcher they had that was injured earlier this year. Their future looks bright.....
