Monstercup, You stated that GoHeels' argument does not hold water. I have read and re-read both GoHeels' statement and your statement. It appears to me you are saying the same thing, that it is not rare for a player to turn down a major program for a mid-major program but it is very uncommon for a player to turn down a D1 for a D2 or a D3. Please help me understand how your comments differ on that score from the comments of GoHeels.
Monstercup,
I believe you essentially restated my point. Regarding ODU, your comments suggest that I was not holding ODU in high regard. To the contrary. I agree wholeheartedly that ODU is heading in the right direction, and they have a fantastic coaching staff.
All I did was use a local, and most familiar, mid-major program, to use as an example, along with circumstancial evidence, as to why someone might CHOOSE THEM over a high-major.

Good point!
So I'll retract the D2/3 portion of my argument then we'll all basically agree........By the Way Kellam beat PA 12-6, Sammy Sinnen lights out for 2 innings, David Mulac stays hot with 2 dbl's and 4 RBI, Nick Walker and Tyler Nelin went yard.
