Just took wife and kid to sunny Hawaii for Spring Break and it rained 6 out of 7 days. I wish I had the 5 grand back for something else, like a trip to an Opening day series.

I'm so glad you posted...I was beginning to think I was the only person who sees the beauty in a rumbling, rambling landslide...I can not even begin to imagine the splendor of a tropical one!
How cool...just reach out and snatch mangoes, passsion fruit, coconuts, and pineapples as they go whizzing by...a pina colada smoothie of mammoth proportions!

Hawaii in December through April has plenty of rain and "cool" weather.
Only place you are GUARANTEED to get sunshine 98% of your vacation time and warm/hot temperatures is MEXICO. Florida is a joke in November through mid-March.

Trust me we will get plenty of "vacations" while playing from now till July on the travel BB road. I just thought the rainy season ended in "sunny Hawaii" at the end of February and the wife has been dying to get over there. We will probably stick to cruises as we have done in the past.
