Probably shouldn't describe the sign that combined the two nicknames I saw a Cal Irvine fan holding tonight.
Just got back to the hotel from the game. The Anteaters have been the darlings of Omaha this year. The locals have a tradition of cheering for the underdog in the tournament. The souvenir tents near Rosenblatt were selling out of Cal Irvine gear today.
To take this on topic, very nice performance last night by a former Texas high schooler for Arizona State in a losing effort.

Great Game by Petey Paramore last night! Hard to say that name after hearing the name Preston Paramore locally for so many years. Too bad the Sun Devils didn't pull it out last night, great game and a nailbiter till the end.
In regards to our moderator: Hope he is having a great time while he is in the land of "it's a DRY heat" I personally would take that over the "Wet Heat" we experience here.....
One advantage of a Dry Heat is that in AZ, during Happy Hour (or actually anytime you are in the bar) you don't have to worry about putting salt on top of your Beer's/Margarita's coaster, no drippy glasses there.
