Hey,

due to a divorce and a lot of moving around(blah blah) the last two years I havent had a stable baseball team. I was pretty good before throwing upper 70's/low 80's in my 14 y/o year of baseball. I am now 17 and am about to start community college. I have always pitched and I am thinking of going out for my team in the fall. I have faith that with my talent and hard work I can make the team and potentially bring myself back to where I should be if I would've never had the interuption. My question for you guys is.... do you have any advice on ways to condition myself and all that between now and the fall college workouts starting in september. i am looking more for lone workouts as i live in an area where i know no one. anyways thanks to anyone who cares to respond.

Google "Throwers Ten" and check out the program in Tom Seaver's book.
I'd suggest not trying to make it all happen at once. Make a plan for yourself and follow it. If you try to overload yourself with workouts, you may end up injuring yourself. Bottom line is, you missed a lot of time when you could gain valuable experience...do not try to make up for it in a short period of time. If you walk on, and you have some ability, the coach will see this and give you time to prove yourself.
