Since the Yankees take a lot of heat regarding players/payroll, worth mentioning that Cashmen confirmed the Yankees never even submitted an offer to Boros/Beltran. Furthermore, having the Mets 119 mil deal on the table, prior to accepting, Boros contacted the Yankees and said they would agree to sign with them for only 100 mil. Now that's gotta make the Mets feel real good!
