Since I can think of no better place to post this than here at the top of the forums .....

Ben Ford, son of Jerry and Betty Ford (Perfect Game) has battled his way back to the "bigs."

After undergoing Tommy John surgery and the long rehab, Ben learned that he made the Milwaukee Brewers opening day 25 man roster!

I am so happy for the Ford's! The President will be in Milwaukee for opening day but we all know that Betty (and oh yeah Jerry) will be the REAL celebrities in the ball park! Smile

Thanks everyone!

Bob, actually the opener is in St Louis. And so are Betty and I right now. So is President Bush I would guess, the security around here is crazy.

I hope he can do well and stay up in the Major Leagues, but it's real tough. He went from being a power throwing closer (before TJ Surgery) to now being a finesse type that relies on control.

Ben actually posted a few messages on the HSBBWeb a while back. He quit when all the guru followers started telling him he needed to learn more about what he was talking about. Maybe he did learn something.

Thanks again to everyone for all the nice words.

That's pretty funny! Big Grin

Big congrats to Ben, mom, and dad! We will be watching Ben's progress and wishing him the best, also!
