Ok Feckley Yes he is good Craighead i like the kid but he is 85 tops with okay off speed and has shown nothing to look foward to in the past
BaseballCAB,

First of all, it is best not to "put down" specific players in your posts. Second of all, if I'm not mistaken, Craighead not only had 7 or 8 wins as a junior but he also has a very dirty curve. If you abide by the Kiser School of More Power then you might not understand my sentiment. But if you have to throw over 85mph to make your list, then you just don't get it.
I've never seen this craighead kid throw, but I remember several years back Miami had an ace that couldnt break a plane of glass and he just dominated.

Pitch movement and the ability to spot is much more important to me than just pure velocity, especially on the high school level. Dont get me wrong, speed is important (particularly if you want to play college), but its definitely secondary.

I think hard throwers that dont spot well getting hit proves that.

So pizzahut, are you saying that these are Poteet's 1-2?

And they are currently the best 1-2 in the metroplex?

I bet that comes as a surprise to Nowell.... Wink

haha I think mr. nowell knows exactly where he stands at Poteet cheapseats.

Who is this whoever kid that seems to be a solid second starter for alot of teams? Same guy or Hillbilly kin-folk. Big Grin

Jed was a millionaire, but dang!

I'm unsure of his eligibility status, I've heard both that he will be and that he wont be. Others would probably know more than me.

Riley threw some big innings for us in the playoffs last year and I think he is somewhat ever looked. Poteets 1-2 will be just fine with or without Good in the rotation.

Woodruff and Blackmon will be effective for Forney.

HP has Travis Jones, but I'm unsure about their other starters.

Rockwall Heath has VerHagen and senior whos a very savy player, his name escapes me.

There are several pitchers in our distric that will have their named called on a future draft day (Nowell, Verhagen, Woodruff), and I think it makes for very good baseball.
