Wilson A2000 1788/1788BG or Rawlings Pro 88 or Pro NP3BT. Each is about $150 and great gloves IMO.

My son is using a new Nokona this year. He has told me he would never use another glove.
Whatever you do do not go with the Hobbs, although they look cool and have an old tyme feel to them, the leather is already week and will more than likely not last very long. Not worth the $125 tag.

For the money, around $120, the Akadema is hard to beat. Very comparable to the Wilson and substanially cheaper. My son had one Nokona that was excellent. The last one I bought him turned into a pancake and started showing wear in the pocket in a matter of days. I think they've started pre-softening their leathers. Maybe the buffalo version is better. The last one we had was the walnut leather.

Just as info kelley has 3 price levels and does not pay pro endorsers.They rely on amateurs for their sales.Good gloves for reasonable price...
