My son (HS Junior) used Easton bats exclusively since he was 8 or 9 years old. Since he plays BB year around, he usually goes through at least one metal bat/year (many more wood ones!). Since making the move to -3 bats at age 13, he had probably 8 Easton's (comps and alloys) and I've had to send all but 1 back for warranty replacements due to connection point openings, rattles, cracks, etc... Easton has a great warranty (400 days) and they stand behind their product.

That being said, it's very inconvenient to send bats back during the season. This summer his Easton bat once again cracked and he tried one of his travel team mate's Omaha's...he loved it. In late summer I got him the Louisville Slugger Omaha CBX6 (red and white) and he hasn't looked back. It's reasonable ($199) vs $399 for many of the composite bats, and it seems to have great pop with no sting (according to him).

At the end of the day it's what bat gives the player the most confidence at the plate...we all know "it's not the arrow, it's the indian"...but if I can buy $199 arrows instead of $399 arrows, I'm all for that.
I Too would recomend the Louisville Slugger Omaha CBX6 (red and white). It has a large sweetspot, and doesnt crack like most easton bats that are the two parts (i.e. stealth). Also, the wieght distrobution is phenomenal not like the TPX Exo that has a lot of top heavy weight. The amount of pop in the Omaha CBX6 is tremendous also.
