Pick the one that will work best for the fielder. If you can find a store that has them on display, try them on. Some just fit better than others. For our son , it was a personal choice that was not price or brand dependent.

My son's favorite glove was a Tommy John glove that was my husband's back in the day. It finally gave way, no surgery would repair it.

Told son he could pick out what he wanted. OK, so that was risky, but.... He tried a lot of gloves. The one he liked best was a midrange priced glove. It was soft. Smile He misses his TJ glove. It's in retirement in his room.
All you're going to get is a poll of what top gloves are used by the sons of posters who take the time to post. Baseball equipment is personal. What is best depends on the player. For the record I got my son the GMP4 this year. I told him he could have the best equipment once he got to high school. The glove was his choice.
Yeah a poll is not what I was looking for. My oldest is a Freshman and the Starting SS on the JV team, but primary position for Summer Ball will be 2B. His A2000 is on it's last year or so and he's looking to purchase a new glove.

I'm heading to a large baseball distributor this weekend so he can get a feel for several top quality gloves. Maybe I should have asked what do the Pro's use? Of course that probably depends all on sponsorships.
The best two MIF gloves we've owned so far...there is basically no difference.

Medium length break-in = beautifully formed pocket with thick 5oz. steerhide and plenty of padding after break-in. You wont go wrong with either...

Kelley Gloves (Also comes in Black)

Bill Pinckard Gloves

I prefer a 11.5, but if you absolutely want an 11.25...this is where I'd look.
