"BOLD" statement or not...that was my two cents of the two pitchers I feel in "my opinion" are the best in Tarrant County that I have actually seen pitch...Now if you have seen these other 10 pitch, then your "opinion" would be great to hear...,but in future keep in mind that this site is based on opinions...and if we were all "skilled" as you appear to be in the art of pitching you would offer up a little more than contradicting someone else's posts...... Bold or not I am just a baseball players dad who enjoy reading this site and when something appeals to me offering up my OPINION>...not trying to be bold or offend the more "knowledgable"

Baseball #6, Sorry if I offended you but your statement said "Besides Milner the top pitcher will eventually be McAlpine"

Talking Tarrant county area only, Asing, Brukenfhofer, Gilbreath, Lane, Easley, Kettler, the Rizzoti kid from Martin and others could match these two. Yes I have seen all of these pitchers including Milner and McAlpine.

Having pitched in High School and some in College, I have watched my son play with or against these guys the last four years. Being involved with the DBAT/Mustangs and Metro Scout League, there are a lot of great pitchers.
I don't think that anyone could pick a top two.
That is all that I was trying to get across.
Thanks,

You forgot one.... Cameron White
If you haven't seen Choplick pitch you've been missing out. This kid has been a tremendous pitcher for a while. He can over power hitters, mix speeds and he has mastered the outside fastball at the knees 6 inches off the plate a.k.a. the North Texas Strike. Batters can't hit it and umps won't call it a ball out of the zone. His legs and hips are thick, his calf's are huge, and he pitches with attitude.

You may have seen him and not known who he was... his dad used to be around everyone of his games with a radar gun since he was 11 or 12. I wonder if he still does.

I did a little searching. Denton paper says he's a soph, pushing 6-7 and left handed. With his stats and Young there, no wonder Ryan is in the area top 10 for 4A. Any idea what summer team he's on, with my son playing on the same nights, the only chance I'd have to see him would be in the playoffs or this summer.

I was told the Panthers.

Great !!! A dad with a radar gun. That's almost as dangerous as a little old lady in a Cadillac driving 30 on LBJ...

McAlpine would be in my top 10 in the DFW area but due to past injuries there's always a question mark. Hope he stays injury free from here on out.
