Also forgot to mention the Gatorade Player of the Year is not just an athletic award, includes academic performance and community service. So a correlation to "best of" and "Gatorade Player" is not appropriate.
Despite what some may think I don't want to take anything away from Mike Montville, like NHmonty has suggested last year the senior class had a boat load of talent, this should in no way diminish the awards he has won. And for those following the banter on here NHMonty and GSBA have made good with no hard feelings, at least on this side.
Is this a good place to re-introduce myself to NH/Northeast baseball? I was gone for a while (college, playing ball, working a job I hated), but now I'm back full-time. I'm looking forward to being active on here - my apologies in advance if we don't see eye-to-eye. My intentions are, and will always be, to help create opportunities for passionate student-athletes.
Back on topic - I get excited about the kids who really work hard to become the best. I work with many players mentioned on here, but I haven't seen most players in the state so its impossible for me to pick a name or two.
So my question is:
Who has the best work ethic in the Class of 2010? Who will out-work their competition to stand out next year as the best? And I'm not talking the "I go to the cages once a week" type. Who is lifting, running, building arm strength, developing skills mentally and physically, etc. more than anybody else???

I think that Joey Maher is going to turn some heads this spring, kid was sitting 86mph on the gun with offspeed stuff in the low 70's. I am not saying he will be the best in 2010 but he will impress.
Yeah but he is class of 2011, next year when this post comes around I'll expect to see him on there.
