Best soph.hitters in the state

Jonathan Edwards, Keller

Mr Edwards gets my vote. .450 plus avg, 15 2B or so, 10 HRs. He's a stud for sure. Probably the best all around 06 player in Texas. IMO

I'd also take Monk Kreder, Catcher from Grapevine.

He will be a HIGHLY recruited player as a senior because he can hit and is already an above average Catcher defensively.

Is Monk only a Soph? I thought he was a junior. Either way he is a good player.

I am pretty sure he only a Soph.

Monk is a Sophmore, was newcomer of the year for 5-5a last year as a Freshman.

Russell Moldenhaur, pitcher & utility, Boerne

My vote is for catcher Mitch Lehman with the Flower Mound Jaguars. He is batting .529 right now. His arm is a lazer to second with pop times in the low 1.9s. He also haa a Perfect Game rating of 8.5.

Are we talking sophmores?

Moldenhauer is THE hardest (and Best) hitter I've ever seen.

I'm biased but Uben Hadagin from Rockwall is tearing it up as well. 10 2bs 4 3bs and 7 Hr;s Has stolen 15 out of 15 bases and has not made an error. Would be class president but he's a move-in. Come on April 1st ~ I've been waiting a year to tell ya'll about this kid.

These kids are now Seniors.

I'll put my 2 cents worth in even though it's 2 years old. Nico Taylor at McKinney North can flat out bang em'. He's a huge kid (6'3") and has some of the quickest hands I've seen in a long time. He played with my sons summer team (Image, coached by Denny Dixon) and I saw him send a bunch WAAAAAAAAAAAAY out the yard!
