Seriously, I'd think that Sox fans would be very upset with the Chairman and his refusal to offer a pitcher more than a 3 yr. deal, especially when you're talking about a 28 yr. old lefthander who pitches 200+ innings every year in the AL. Unless his agent is asking for Barry Zito money, there should be multiple teams interested. You've got a real juggernaut developing in Detroit with an owner who's willing to spend big bucks. That's what I'd be worried about.

JP, I didn't mean that the Tigers would be interested in Buerhle. Only that if my team is in that division I'd be concerned with the Tiger's willingness to pay big money to big players.
Yeah, how about Mags. He deserves much more acclaim than he's getting for the season he's having, and whoever found the doctor in Austria to perform that procedure on his knee gets kudos also. He got my all-star vote.
